Info: Founded the company back in 1996 and led it ever since, accompanied by his cousin Hydra. He first entered the online communities of ZZT and MegaZeux in October of 1997 and has been an "active" member from there on, though his most active time was 1999-2001. Besides ZZT and MegaZeux, his hobbies are movies, collecting DVDs, music, football, fitness, ornithology, gaming, beer, etc. Herc has an MSc in biology, which he received after spending six years at the University of Leiden). In the past, Herc won two 24 hours of ZZT contests in the past (Autumn 1999 and 2000) and has released many ZZT and MegaZeux stuff. The friendly Dutchman is also a demigod from Mount Olympus.

Hydra
[ vice-president ]
[ date of joining: June 8th, 1996 ]
[ e-mail | website ]

Info: Hydra started ZZTing in 1993 when he got the program from his cousin Hercules. The first couple of years he made a lot of small games in the Dutch language, but when HM told him about the internet ZZT community in 1996, he started to make his games in English. Since the first week he has been a member of Interactive Fantasies, and made games like Freak da Cat and King's Quest ZZT in the past few years. Nowadays he is not really active in the commune anymore, but he still has a weak spot for ZZT and plays all the games coming out.

Info: PlastikFish, better known as Robert Pragt, is one of Dutch ZZTers, living close to Hydra's village. He's got some excellent ZZT stuff in the works and has great ZZT art skills. Lowlands is where he's from and he likes to par-tay! Don't look weird if he's got his hair dyed blue again. :P

Thundercloud
[ member ]
[ date of joining: January 13th, 2001 ]
[ e-mail ]

Info: His abilities include single handedly defying the laws of youth society and act like a proper person, using 2D and 3D art packages with reasonable success, single handedly annoying Fishfood off the face of the Earth, and last but not least, bribing Herc into getting into IF. j/k I mean, using MZX to a good degree... even though he doesn't use it anymore. He released what is probably the first PLAYABLE RTS for MZX, Dynasty. He also had other stuff in the works, but then he lost interest in MZX... He's waiting for other GCSes to come out before he continues his work. He's the only person in his Real Life friends group to own a CD-RW, has many different covers, depending on who he's with. This enables him to blend into most different societies reasonably well. He's in love with *cough cough splutter splutter hack* (well he ain't gonna spread it around the net). And finally, he has more computer CDs than music CDs (not suprising, when you consider he gets most of his music from the internet).

Leamas
[ member ]
[ date of joining: December 1st, 2001 ]
[ e-mail | website ]

Info: Leamas (Sejr Andersen) is a 2 GOTM winner with LOME and THE THIEF 3. On his spare time, he'd rather just hang out with some friends, listen to music, and overall, just have plain fun. Leamas also has very bad English skills: lack of a vocabulary, and spends most of his time looking in that damn dictionary and thesaurus! But he still finds time to have fun.

[ date of joining: January 9th, 2003 ]
[ e-mail | website ]

Info: Marcus is a relatively new MZXer, who started messing around with the program somewhere in 1999/2000. He's showed some good MZXing ability, along with his other friends from Finland (because he's a Scandinavian! :D). His other hobbies include listening to music, role-playing (both pen & paper and computer) and drawing. He might even play soccer with his little brother... sometimes. Kinda hates beer, but loves booze nonetheless. :P

Jester

[ date of joining: January 9th, 2003 ]
[ e-mail ]

Info: Jester (aka Tommy) is an 18 year old MZXer from Finland and a real-life friend of Marcus and Jauhis. He started messing with MZX in 1999-2000 when his friend Jauhis showed some of his work. The first reaction was "Holy!#*%, what the hell is this?", because that game was pretty awful. So... Tommy mainly was the plot designer, because he didn't want to make games that only used smiley faces, but after he found a game called Bernard the Bard, Tommy decided to improve. Or should I say start learning Robotic and other MZX stuff? :P Tommy also enjoys heavy metal music, playing the bass, reading and playing AD&D.

Currently Tommy has released only one game for MZX called Zombie Quest, of which he wrote the plot and did character graphics, animations and minigames. Tommy has also been in a bunch of MZX contests. First time his team was 10th with a game called "Wither" that was pretty rushed game, then the second time his team won. The game was called Drastic Crusade. The third time his team made a game called "Larry the Junkie", which placed 4th.

Mono
[ member ]
[ date of joining: March 12th, 2003 ]
[ e-mail ]

Info: Mono has been using ZZT since 1993 and has been a member of several groups, including Zed-Omega Productions and Helios. He joined Helios in 1994, about the same time the group broke up and left a short time later for ZOP. Later, around '96 or '97 he restarted Helios with E_Creator2 and some other original members, but they didn't get anything completed.

From 1994-2000 he had the Big, Bustin' Barrel, which was one of the first combination news pages and ZZT game archives out there. He ran the ZZT section of zeux.net for a while and in 1998 or 1999 he started zzt.net, which pulled together many of the best websites to one location. The ZZT.archive came out of that. He revived the barrel in May 2002 but it died in December, 2002, when he decided to stop paying for the webspace. In 1997, he wrote the Megazeux Rules series, one of the first saga knock-offs.

In 1998, Mono started 24 hours of ZZT as a ZZT response to the popular Day of Zeux contest. He has only released one game, a newbie thing he made waaaay back in 1994 called "Hillary's Healthcare". He made other stuff too but didn't actually release anything of importance.

Mono is 23 years old, recently married and works as sports editor at a small California newspaper.

Jauhis

[ date of joining: May 20th, 2003 ]
[ e-mail ]

Info: Jauhis is MZXer from Finland. Once upon a time, in 1998, Jauhis was searching for good game making program from internet... He was able to find many crappy programs, and they didn't satisfy Jauhis. So, he continued the search. Then he did it and found MegaZeux and ZZT! So he started messing with MegaZeux, made couple crappy games, and introduced it for his real-life friends Marcus and Tommy. Jauhis concentrated to practice his graphical skills because he didn't like to program a whole lot. Jauhis has made over 20 games with MZX, but he has released only one so far; Zombie Quest, which he made with Tommy. Jauhis other hobbies are drawing, listening music and playing videogames (both new and old ones).

Info: EmalkaY used to be in IF twice before (January 2001 - November 2001; January 2002 - December 2002). EmalkaY has been known for classic-style MZX games, which are always enjoyable. Other than that, he has definite tracking skills and showed this in a couple of his MZX games. Music does not only mean MZX music and tracking to EmalkaY; no, he's also a DJ in real-life. Watch out for the Lame Yak Superstar DJ!
