After Blue Magus, Koopo and tseng quit Interactive Fantasies, quite a mess was left behind. We talked things over and started voting for new members. The voting is over now and we have welcomed three new members: yllek, Jacob Hammond and FreeZerBurn. FreeZerBurn left Eagle Rock Interactive to join IF and yllek quit Large Orange Lump to join IF again (he was in IF in the beginning of 1998). Anyway, IF is back at its feet. =)

Dexter and Skullie have decided to merge their two ZZT companies, Starfuckers Inc and SkulSoft, into the once again revived Reptile House. The current members are Dexter, Skullie, Jujubee, Lemmer and Voighdt.

GipFace has uploaded the page for the Spring 24 hours of ZZT that he is hosting. The page can be foud here with info on the contest, the rules and a list of the competitors. The contest starts on Saturday, March 25th at 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You can sign up by emailing GipFace with your name and preferred ID number.

kev-san, also known as Kevin Carter, has joined the ZZT company of Parasite and LowerVP, Vision Tech. After the recent joining of Wayward, kev-san (ZZT's best musician ever) is another worthy addition to the company, which is now beginning to grow bigger. Vision Tech's page can be found here.

Dunkinbean is hosting the Spring Ibuki Other 24 hours of ZZT. This contest was originally thought up by Ibuki for the people who missed the Winter 24 hours of ZZT. Ibuki gave away the hosting rights to Wayward, who hosted the Winter Ibuki Other 24 hours of ZZT. This contest was won by Dunkinbean, who now decided to host another one for people who are gonna miss the Spring 24 hours of ZZT (other people can participate too). The contest will start a week after the Spring 24 hours of ZZT. Info can be found here.

I (Hercules) and The Agonizer have finally released the long-awaited multiplayer MegaZeux action game Brotherhood, after 3 years. The beta-testing is done and most of the bugs have been removed. There is still an annoying bug in the dagger engine, but I couldn't seem to get rid of it. Anyway, download it at the Games section of the IF page. Gather your friends and have lots and lots of multiplayer MegaZeux fun!

Jacob Hammond released ZIG 2.0 editor edition a few days ago, but it had some bugs and didn't work on Euphoria 2.2. The fixed version has been released now (works on Euphoria 2.1 and 2.2), so you can now fully use ZIG's editor, without bugs. Get it here or visit the ZIG page here.

tseng has decided to quit ZZT after a good 3 and a half years. First he wanted to quit the community too, but he decided to come back to the scene for about half a year. Since tseng will no longer be making games (he says he lacks the inspiration), he quit Interactive Fantasies, too. tseng's ZZT-quittage story can be read here. tseng did release his last Gem Hunter Anthology, which includes various Gem Hunter spin-offs and a new Gem Hunter 2 SE, which will be added to the IF page soon.

As you might have noticed, Myth's ZZT and MegaZeux page (it was randomly titled) has been done for several weeks. Jeff Conroy contacted Myth about it and it appeared that his ISP (inquo.net) took away Myth's access to his files and deleted them. Myth is trying to solve this problem, but he is a busy man.

Blue Magus and Koopo have both quite IF. Blue Magus was the first to quit. He got tired of IF and had various other reasons. Koopo decided to quit as well after a few days. Also, both of them thought IF isn't what it used to be. Koopo and Blue were two of IF's oldest members (Koopo has been a member ever since June 1998 and Blue joined in October 1998) and we'll really miss them. Don't worry, we'll keep the boat sailing. We are now going to sort out things. You'll hear more later.

Robert Pragt has joined Interactive Fantasies. It took a long time to choose a 10th member, but this was because a lot of people signed up and among them were several good options. Robert is working on multiple very promising ZZT projects, about which you'll find info on the IF page soon.
