After many long days of work, the new redesign of the main ZZT site, z2, is finally up.

The style has completely changed -- new colors and slightly altered lay-out. You now have the option of changing styles, too. The navigation is easier to use and there is a log in feature on the main page. This will use your phpBB message boards account. Any stuff already on the site before the redesign (uploading, reviewing, downloading games) will NOT require you to log in. However, features to be added later may. Other than that, many minor things have been tweaked, fixed or removed. More will be changed and added in the future.

The Winter 2002 24 hours of ZZT contest is being hosted by Bigge and Nanobot, who won the previous one (as a team). The official page can be found here. Once again, there will be side contests as well. The current plan is that the contest will start on January 3 (which is actually, 2003 instead of 2002, but that besides the point :P).
